Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, a key position within the Business Development Department at HQE. The Proposal Manager is tasked with leading the development of high-quality proposals, coordinating the proposal creation process, and effectively communicating proposal statuses to relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Manage the creation of persuasive and compelling proposals that align with client requirements and effectively highlight HQE's offerings.
-Process Management: Establish and manage a streamlined process for proposal development, from initial request through delivery and follow-up.
-Team Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information, verify details, and ensure the accuracy of the proposal content.
-Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal content for clarity, compliance, and effectiveness. Ensure the proposals meet high-quality standards before submission.
-Proposal Tracking: Monitor the status of proposals, including submission dates, follow-ups, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to the Director of Business Development and other stakeholders.
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal management or a similar role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proven experience in managing the creation of successful business proposals.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using proposal management software tools.
- Must be able to obtain a federal government security clearance and pass a full background check.
- Must possess an active U.S. passport.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
